letter- 8 | Pawfectly Made

Hi Sockington,

I'd be more than happy to attend your trial class. And what's more, (because I'm such a great friend of yours), I've also spoken to my doggy friends, (some of who are as naughty as me), and they too, have agreed to come on this class with me. But before I do, I have something I want to discuss with you. So the other day, I overheard my parent talking on the phone with someone. She thinks I can't understand human language, but little do they know that cats and dogs understand every single word. We just don't tell them we understand, because that'll mean we have to work for them. Anyway, so I overheard her saying that she may bring another pup home. Apparently her friend saw a little abandoned pup on the road, and was asking around if anyone would want to adopt it. Obviously my pet parents seemed excited at the prospect. To be honest, darling Sockington, I don't know how to feel about this. I mean, I'm not the jealous type, but if there's anyone who's going to be taking love in this house, it should be me right? Like I was here first, so shouldn't it be my monopoly? Also, where's the space? There's only one bed here and that's for me. There are only 3 rooms here, and those are for me. There's only one parent here, and well, she's for me. As I said, I'm not the jealous kind at all, but I just can't figure out the maths of it. What would you do in my situation, Socks? I'm thinking of having a sit down with my parent tonight to explain to how why this is such a bad idea. Let's hope it goes well. Paws crossed.

yours nervously,

eddie
